Stormtrooper is a true albino Psilocybe cubensis genetic developed by Dirty South Mycology. Recognized for its ghost-white fruiting bodies, blue-gray bruising, and clear spores, this modern genetic is a striking example of albinism expressed throughout both the mushroom and its reproductive structures.
Product Description
Stormtrooper is a modern true albino Psilocybe cubensis genetic developed by the late mycologist known as Dirty South Mycology.
The genetic is most commonly traced to an albino isolation from Tidal Wave lineage, although conflicting lineage descriptions have circulated over time. What is consistently preserved in the community record is Dirty South Mycology’s role in developing and distributing Stormtrooper as a distinct genetic.
Stormtrooper produces dramatically pale fruiting bodies with white-to-ivory stems and caps that may develop cool blue-gray coloration as they mature or bruise.
Most importantly, the albino phenotype extends beyond its visible appearance. Lady Hyphae’s Stormtrooper genetic produces clear spores rather than the dark purple-brown spores characteristic of normally pigmented P. cubensis.
About this strain
Stormtrooper was developed by Dirty South Mycology and became one of the genetics associated with his work in modern cubensis isolation and selection.
The most commonly preserved lineage identifies Stormtrooper as an albino isolation originating from Tidal Wave genetics. Rather than being simply a pale mushroom, Stormtrooper displays characteristics consistent with true albinism.
Its fruiting bodies are dramatically white, while its spores lack the dark pigmentation typically associated with P. cubensis. Lady Hyphae's Stormtrooper line produces clear spores, providing an especially useful characteristic for comparative microscopy.
Stormtrooper's combination of modern breeding history, true albino pigmentation, and clear spores makes it particularly valuable for studying pigmentation differences across P. cubensis genetics.
