Stargazer Spore Syringe – 10cc

$20.00

Stargazer is a classic Psilocybe cubensis variety associated with Peru and the Andean region surrounding Machu Picchu. Recognized for its warm caramel-to-reddish-brown caps, pale stems, and traditional dark purple-brown spores, Stargazer preserves a geographic identity very different from today’s selectively bred cubensis hybrids.

Product Description

Stargazer is a heritage Psilocybe cubensis variety most commonly associated with Peru, particularly the Andean region surrounding Machu Picchu.

Older descriptions of Stargazer contain conflicting origin stories, sometimes incorrectly placing the genetic in Oaxaca, Mexico. The Peruvian history is the one more consistently associated with Stargazer, although the exact original collector and precise collection site are not well documented.

Morphologically, Stargazer retains a traditional cubensis appearance. Caps typically develop warm caramel, reddish-brown, or chestnut coloration and expand from convex forms into broader mature caps. Pale stems can display blue bruising where tissue is damaged.

Stargazer is normally pigmented and produces the dark purple-brown spores characteristic of conventional P. cubensis, making it useful for comparative microscopy alongside albino, leucistic, and unusual spore-color genetics.

Strain spotlight

About this strain

Stargazer is a geographically associated Psilocybe cubensis genetic with a reported origin in Peru and a long-standing connection to the region surrounding Machu Picchu.

The exact collector and collection history have become difficult to reconstruct, so claims that the original specimen was collected directly from the Machu Picchu archaeological site should be treated cautiously. What has persisted most consistently is Stargazer's Peruvian and Andean association.

The genetic displays classic P. cubensis characteristics: warm brown caps, pale stems, blue bruising, and conventionally pigmented dark purple-brown spores.

Rather than a documented modern hybrid or laboratory-created cross, Stargazer belongs to an older group of cubensis genetics whose identities are tied primarily to geographic provenance.
