ODPE Spore Syringe – 10cc

ODPE, or Old Dirty Penis Envy, is a distinctive Psilocybe cubensis genetic from the Penis Envy family. Known for dense stems, irregular brown caps, and a rugged PE morphology, its history is surrounded by competing origin stories—including the possibility that “ODPE” originally meant Outdoor Penis Envy.
Product Description
ODPE is an unusual Psilocybe cubensis variety descended from Penis Envy genetics and recognized for its dense structure, irregular cap development, and characteristically rugged appearance.
Its name has more than one explanation. Today, ODPE is most commonly expanded as Old Dirty Penis Envy, but another historical account suggests that the initials originally stood for Outdoor Penis Envy, referring to a PE expression recovered from an outdoor garden bed. Over time, that name may have shifted into “Old Dirty Penis Envy” as the genetic circulated.
Other community histories attribute its isolation or stabilization to cultivators known as Joshua or “Ole Julian,” although the surviving documentation is not strong enough to definitively assign authorship to either individual.
Like many members of the Penis Envy family, ODPE may produce reduced or inconsistent visible sporulation compared with classic P. cubensis varieties. When mature pigmented spores are produced, they retain the dark purple-brown coloration expected of normally pigmented cubensis genetics.
About this strain
ODPE belongs to the broader Penis Envy family of Psilocybe cubensis genetics, but its precise development history remains unresolved.
Two naming histories circulate most often:
Old Dirty Penis Envy — the name under which the genetic is now widely known.
Outdoor Penis Envy — an earlier interpretation associated with a PE expression reportedly recovered from an outdoor garden bed.
Community accounts also mention mycologists identified as Joshua and “Ole Julian” in connection with the genetic's isolation or stabilization, but those attributions remain difficult to verify.
Morphologically, ODPE retains many traits associated with Penis Envy: dense pale stems, compact or irregular caps, blue bruising, and reduced or inconsistent sporulation in some expressions.
Its combination of PE morphology, uncertain provenance, and unusual reproductive behavior makes ODPE particularly interesting for comparative genetic and microscopy research.
