Ghost is a true albino Psilocybe cubensis isolation descended directly from True Albino Teacher.
Developed by the mycologist Jik Fibs, Ghost was selected from TAT genetics for its distinctive pale phenotype and compact morphology. Fruiting bodies are predominantly white to ivory, with dense pale stems and caps that can develop irregular or wavy forms as they mature.
The true albino phenotype extends into its reproductive structures, producing extremely lightly pigmented to essentially transparent spores rather than the dark purple-brown spore deposits associated with conventionally pigmented P. cubensis.
Its combination of traceable TAT lineage, true albino pigmentation, distinctive morphology, and transparent spores makes Ghost particularly interesting for comparative microscopy.
