Albino Avery Spore Syringe – 10cc

$20.00

Albino Avery is a true albino Psilocybe cubensis genetic descended from Cambodian lineage. Recognized for its ghost-white fruiting bodies and clear, nearly transparent spores, Avery’s Albino offers a striking example of true albinism for comparative microscopy and pigmentation research.

Product Description

Albino Avery, more commonly known as Avery’s Albino, is a true albino Psilocybe cubensis genetic traced to Cambodian ancestry.

Unlike leucistic varieties that produce pale fruiting bodies while retaining dark spores, Avery’s Albino expresses dramatically reduced pigmentation throughout both the visible mushroom and its reproductive structures. Its fruiting bodies are predominantly white to ivory, while its spores are clear to nearly transparent rather than the dark purple-brown associated with conventionally pigmented P. cubensis.

This distinction is particularly important because Avery’s Albino is frequently confused with Albino A+ or AA+, which is actually leucistic.

The combination of Cambodian ancestry, true albino expression, and translucent spores makes Avery’s Albino a particularly interesting genetic for microscopy and comparative pigmentation research.

Strain spotlight

About this strain

Avery's Albino is most commonly traced to a true albino expression isolated from Cambodian Psilocybe cubensisgenetics.

The genetic has also circulated under names including True Albino Cambodian, although the exact early breeder and origin of the “Avery” name remain poorly documented.

What is considerably clearer is its pigmentation phenotype.

Avery's Albino produces dramatically pale fruiting bodies and clear to translucent spores, distinguishing it from leucistic genetics that retain conventional spore pigmentation.

For Lady Hyphae, that combination is what makes Avery's Albino especially valuable: it provides a direct microscopic comparison between true albinism, leucism, and conventional P. cubensis pigmentation.
